Caroline Poole
Caroline obtained her BSc in Psychology in 1997. She trained in biblical studies at the Cornhill Training Course in London and studied counselling through Biblical Counselling UK, in partnership with the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. In addition, she gained over 200 hours of Biblical Counselling practice as a supervised Intern with Biblical Counselling UK. She also has more than 20 years experience of pastoral care as a minister’s wife, serving churches in the UK and overseas.
The Christian Counseling and Education Foundation training is comprehensive, covering counselling methodology and practice over a wide range of life issues. This training is underpinned by a biblical understanding of how people change and grow, and a conviction that God speaks into every area of our lives: into our fear, anxiety, anger, shame, regret, guilt and suffering. As we look to God in our struggles, we can find hope in our despair, comfort in our weariness and a way out when we hit rock bottom – not through any quick-fix formula, but through relationship with God, who offers us himself.
In her ministry Caroline has walked alongside those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional health, stress, loss, eating disorders and childhood trauma. Using the riches of God’s Word, Caroline seeks to bring Christ-like counsel to those in need.
I know that meeting with Caroline has been a significant help to many. I warmly commend her.
